You can't beat an Iron Heart jean for under $315. They hardly exist. And if you're looking for a step up from your battered and torn selvedge selection, this is an incredible place to start. At 14oz, these still have heft, but they're not going to break the bank or break your legs. These are a modern slim cut with more taper from the knee to cuff than most of their jeans. Their 14oz denim is their second iteration twisted weft yard (the same construction technique as their 21oz selvedge). It is their "least heavy" Japanese denim, but it goes without saying that nothing from Iron Heart is under-constructed. These things are solid and built to last.

Fit Notes: Ryan is wearing a size 31 in these. That is one above his normal size. The top button was a little hard to get fastened because these are very densely woven and tight. We highly recommend sizing up at least once in these. Shop owner Tommy is our standard fit model and wears a size 32. He is 5'10," 165lbs with a 32-33" waist.
