James Dant x Dehen - Shawl Sweater Coat 2.0 - Smoke, Charcoal
This was the piece that hooked us! The level of detail and construction on this shawl sweater coat is the best we've ever seen, hands down. No one in the world does knits the way Dehen does and has been doing for 100 years now. The tightness in the knit and the feeling you get when you slip these jackets over your shoulders can't be touched. It's just too good. So, when we had the opportunity to do these two incredible colors as exclusives, we jumped at it. This is our favorite version of the shawls they produce. If you're gonna go full-on "sweater coat" you've got to go for the slash pockets and elbow patches. It's the only way. These muted colors are the first time we've seen a less saturated, more modern spin on their knits. We honestly couldn't be happier with both the Sage and Smoke. They are easy to wear with everything. You can only get these two colors in the 2.0 at James Dant this year! How special is that?
The Shawl Sweater Coat is Dehen 1920's heavyweight shawl collar knit, built from over three pounds of 100% worsted wool yarn in a four-end jersey construction at the Dehen factory in Portland. The details are exactly what you'd want, reinforced internal knit elbow patches, single welt front pockets, 2x2 foldback cuffs, and custom engraved burgundy corozo buttons on a six-button front closure. A garment that gets better with every season it's worn.

Tommy could even wear a size large in this if he wanted more of a comfy smoker's jacket/grandpa vibes cardigan. Tommy is 5'10" and 170lbs with a 40" chest.
